LIFE INSURANCE: INDIVIDUAL COVERAGE

InsMed can assist you in the selection of effective, competitively priced life insurance benefits for you, your partners, or shareholder and eligible employees. We can help you structure your lie insurance coverage to obtain the most satisfactory benefits for your group. Part of your selection process will depend upon whether it is in the best interest for your practice to insure with individual or group policies or both.

Individual Policies
Your InsMed representative will describe for you the differences between group and individual policies, permanent and term insurance and participating and non-participating policies. Although you may decide that a group poicy is best for your entire population, you may still consider the possibility of using individual poicies for Buy-Sell funding. Executive bonuses, which can a form of deferred compensation, or Key Person supplements. Here, again, your InsMed representative will assist and support you during the decision process.

Once you decide that one or more individual life insurance contracts is necessary for your practice, your representative will explain the different options for term insurance, which is a poloicy issued to remain in force for a specified period of time or whole life, also known as permanent insurance. Each type of poicy has advantages and disadvantages, as well as various choices relating to its premium and benefit structures. It is essential that you have the expertise of an InsMed representative so that you can make the best and most economical determinations.
