PROGRAMS
Medical schools are required to provide a standard package of
benefits to residents and fellows participating in graduate medical education
programs. Working with InsMed, GME administrators and program directors' task
of maintaining regionally competitive salaries and benefits packages for
participating house staff and fellows is easier than ever before.
InsMed is experienced at working in concert with GME administrators
and program directors in the identification, modification, development and management
of benefits affecting house officers and fellows. By partnering with InsMed, GME
Directors have the ability to evaluate a choice of providers and plans for graduating
residents.
InsMed representatives will apply their expertise to review the
current benefits package for residents and fellows and compare with benefit packages
of similar institutions to identify gaps in coverage, potential improvements or
alternative packages for consideration. The objective is to help the GME staff
devise and maintain a benefits package that will compare favorably with other
institutions and include generous long term disability benefit including guaranteed
conversion upon graduation at significantly permanent discounted rates.
